The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, delivered a training lecture on the topic of "The Life of Prophets and Principles of Personality Development".

He began his speech by reciting verse 6 of Surah At-Tahrim, in which Allah commands the believers to protect themselves and their families from the fire of Hell. In light of this verse, he emphasized the responsibility of both men and women—that every individual must first reform themselves and then guide their children towards the path of righteousness and piety.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri quoted Abdullah bin Umar (R.A.), who stated that on the Day of Judgment, parents will be questioned about the education and upbringing of their children. He also narrated an incident from the life of Imam Malik’s mother, who advised her son to associate with scholars of etiquette and Sufism so that he could learn not only knowledge but also good morals and manners.

Dr. Hassan stated that true believers always call towards goodness and prevent evil. A sincere believer is one who, if they miss a prayer, feels as if they have lost something precious. Highlighting the importance of ablution (wudu), he said that maintaining wudu is the gateway to establishing salah (prayer). If a person loses wudu, Satan gains dominance, and when Satan prevails, the closeness to the Most Merciful (Rahman) is lost.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri urged that we must drive Satan away and seek closeness to Allah by embodying the morals and characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He added that a true believer is one who continues to worship Allah even in solitude, whether the world acknowledges them or not, for Allah is always watching.

In the concluding part of his speech, he shared inspiring stories from the lives of the saints and the righteous that encouraged humility, gratitude, devotion to Allah, and contentment—qualities that contribute to building a peaceful society. He urged the audience to turn their homes into centers of worship, knowledge, gratitude, and contentment, so that an ideal Islamic society could be established.
