Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, along with Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and other leaders, visited Baghdad Town’s Itikaf City yesterday to review the arrangements ahead of the start of Itikaf 2025. He instructed the Secretary of Itikaf City to ensure the utmost comfort and convenience for the worshippers. He emphasized the uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water and the availability of doctors, medical staff, and medicines at all times in case of emergencies. He also stressed the need for a peaceful environment for worship and devotion, highlighting that Itikaf is a Sunnah (Prophetic tradition) with immense spiritual rewards.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur stated that this collective Itikaf, which is set to begin on the 20th of Ramadan under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, includes participants from Central Punjab, Southern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Rural Sindh, Urban Sindh, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He mentioned that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri would deliver lectures to the worshippers on the topic of "Divine Love and the Pleasure of Tawheed."

He further stated that thousands of women will also join the Itikaf, with separate arrangements made for them. He emphasized that Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s Itikaf City serves as a manifestation of unity within the Muslim Ummah, providing both spiritual training and moral reform. People from various walks of life across the country become part of this grand gathering. He remarked that for ten days, Itikaf City transforms into a "Mini Pakistan," bringing together people from every city, culture, and language of Pakistan.

He concluded by stating that the worshippers gather here under the spiritual bond of their devotion to Allah and His Messenger (PBUH). Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Itikaf City is a true reflection of unity among Muslims and the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
