If a woman happens to break her spiritual retreat for some valid excuse such as becoming ill, starting menstruation, giving birth or remaining outside the place of spiritual retreat for longer than permitted, she will make the qada' for all the days left including the day she broke it (if it happened during the day). If she has missed the (same number of) fasts too, it is more appropriate to do them both together. Or else, she will add optional fasts to al-qada' of spiritual retreat.
