The 22nd of Ramadan commenced with great blessings of Allah Almighty. Salat-o-Sunnah committee recited Durood and Kalama-e-Tawhid with great enthusiasm and awakened up the mu’takifat for the Tahajud prayer. The announcements with regard to following the Sunnah continued during Sahoor and the Mess Committee served them with food in their rooms. According to the scheduled routine, Fajr prayer was offered followed by Halqa-e-Dhikr-o-Durood in the assembly area. The mu’takifat then left for rest.

They came to the assembly area for congregational Salat-ut-Tasbih at 9:30 am. Then Sisters of Nizamat-e- Dawa briefed the participants on the methods, rules and pattern of a standard Halqa-e-Durood. The ‘mu’takifat’ then observed the ritual of reciting their individual wazaif in their rooms and then reposed for a while.

After Zuhr prayer Zainab Arshad held meeting with MSM sisters and explained to them the procedure of how to go about achieving targets of membership. The head Discipline Committee held meeting with its members and motivated them to promote polite manners.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League introduced kid’s camp in this itikaf for the young Mu’takifeen. Sister Aimen Yousuf Mughal and Sister Husan A’ra managed interesting activities for kids (aging 4-12). Mrs. Fizza Hussain Qadri visited Minhaj Kid’s forum today and held question answer secession with the kids. She spent one whole hour with the young mutakifeen and distributed chocolates among the kids.

Later the Mu’allimat delivered their Daroos-e-Qura’n in Halaqat-e-Irfan-ul-Qura’n named ‘Al-Hidaya’.

Mrs. Ghazala Hassan Qadri met the women chapters from Sargodha division. Sister Ayesha Mubasher (Nazima Tanzeemat and Zonal Nazima North Punjab) presented the detailed working report of Sargodha division.

Mrs. Fizza Hussain Qadri met Minhaj-ul-Qura’n Women League’s social media team. Sadaf Alvi (social media team head) briefed the working of team and discussed the working plan in detail.

At Iftaar time the Iftaari was served to the participants in the rooms. Then the evening and the Isha prayers were performed and Salat-ut-Trawih was offered.

Mehfil-e-Na’at was then arranged in the assembly area and Minhaj Na’at Council from Faisalabad presented beautiful Nasheeds.

Sister Afnan Baber delivered her talk on versatile personality of Shaykh-ul-Islam. Then the Itikaf Supervisor Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Tanveer Khan held meeting with the Central Itikaf Committee and surveyed the performance. They congratulated the members on making excellent arrangements and running the Itikaf proceedings satisfactorily.
 

The address by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri started at 11.30 pm. The Mu’takifat, then, left for rest.
